Hey boys,
Nick Taylor here, Ironmen 1996-2000. I've been given the task of taking over the site again and since I'm a little busy these days, I've decided to just set up alumni and current Ironmen with blogs.
So in terms of anything Ironmen alumni related, this is the definitive place to get your information. Roy Hickey, current head coach of the Ironmen and other volunteers will be updating the blog as need be, especially for any info pertaining to the next reunion.
I'll spice up the look of the site when I get a chance, but for now, it's a somewhat neutral look for the page.
If anyone has great action shots from any season, please send them to nick@webnick.ca. I'd like to use them to make the site a little more appealing.
For anyone trying to contact the current university players, please send an e-mail to ironmen@unb.ca.

Coach's Lament:
I said farewell the last week to Steve Bishop and Rob Crozier. It occurred to all of us during the meeting that it was a kind of final farewell, as they were finished at UNB and were moving into the next stage of life. It was a bittersweet moment for me as I was proud of what they had accomplished during their time at UNB, but sad to know they were not going to be with us in the fall. It was apparent that the Ironmen Club had been a large part of their university expereince, and I believe it was key in shaping who they were; and they had become very fine young men.
If I continue in this role for years to come, I hope to never fail in being amazed by seeing realized potential personified as I did with these two and the others who have finished their Ironmen careers.
